HiFi Klubben is a popular Danish retailer specializing in highquality audio and home cinema equipment. They offer a wide range of products, including amplifiers, speakers, turntables, headphones, soundbars, projectors, TVs, and various accessories. They are known for their knowledgeable staff and excellent customer service.

Challenge
HiFi Klubben was experiencing a loss of market momentum. This was partly due to new HiFi technologies, such as streaming, which led to new market demands, and partly due to a lack of direction in brand development. HiFi Klubben needed clarity about their purpose, vision, and cultural differentiation to create a commercially attractive value proposition and brand direction. A bold strategic move was necessary to regain traction and reclaim category leadership.

Solution
Hatch & Co developed a new brand strategy and identity inspired by the unique brand DNA discovered in the process. We found that the primary commercial differentiator was HiFi Klubben’s unique culture. As a result, we created a credo and cultural codes known as the HiFi Klubben Experience. This core set of values and traits characterizes the experience that sets HiFi Klubben apart from the competition, establishes a leadership position, and drives sales. Hatch & Co also developed an international academy for retail staff and management, providing training in brand activation and how to bring the brand to life.
