Ride for life

Team Rynkeby is a charitable cycling team that raises funds for critically ill children and their families. Each year, they embark on a journey from 9 different countries to Paris, cycling to raise money for organizations like the Danish Cancer Society for Children and the Danish Lung Cancer Foundation for Children.

Challenge
Team Rynkeby is the largest charity organization in Europe. Over the years, more than 20,000 people have raised awareness and funds for the cause while completing the challenge of cycling to Paris from their home countries.  More than €100 million have been raised for critical ill children and their families since the concept was introduced back in 2002.

The challenge was to reinvent the original concept and develop a fresh offering for those who still wanted to support Team Rynkeby but sought a new challenge.

Solution
Hatch & Co developed a new concept for Team Rynkeby called the Team Rynkeby Cycling Club. The club was introduced in all the countries where Team Rynkeby operates and has attracted more than 2,000 members since its inception. The TRCC continues to raise awareness for the cause and has introduced a series of new adventures for its members, such as cycling challenges and events across Europe, as well as merchandise and gear from brand partners who also want to support this amazing cause
